Submission Guidelines
Types of Submissions
Oral Presentation
An oral presentation gives you the opportunity to present your research in more detail and engage directly with participants during the discussion. Presentations will be grouped into parallel sessions based on topic and organised by the scientific committee.
Each session (90 minutes) includes:
- Session of 3 presenters: 25 minutes for the presentation
- Session of 4 presenters: 20 minutes for the presentation
- 3-5 minutes for questions and discussion
Presentation slides should be prepared in English. All presenting authors must register for the conference.
Poster Presentation
A poster presentation offers the opportunity to discuss your research in an informal and interactive setting. Poster sessions encourage in-depth discussions with a large share of conference participants. At least one poster author must be registered for the conference and be present for the full duration of the assigned poster session. Posters should be prepared in English. Further information about poster size and format will be shared on the conference website at a later stage.
Symposium
Oral symposia are intended to stimulate discussion and collaboration around shared research interests. We encourage the symposium organiser/ chair to bring together contributors from multiple institutions and research groups.
A symposium should:
• Include at least four presentations
• Last a maximum of 90 minutes
• Individual presentations may last up to 15 minutes
• Reserve at least 10 minutes for discussion
The symposium chair is responsible for coordinating speakers and managing the session timing.
Submission Guidelines
To submit an abstract for an oral presentation or poster contribution, please complete the online submission form available.
Abstracts:
- Contain a maximum of 250 words
- Please specify below your abstract whether it concerns an oral presentation or a symposium
- List 1–3 keywords relevant to your abstract, symposium or poster
Important Dates
- Abstract submission deadline: 9 October 2026
- Notification of acceptance: 14 December 2026
- Opening and deadline registration: to be announced
After notification of acceptance, all presenting authors are required to complete conference registration and payment before the registration deadline.
Please note that registering for the conference is required. Conference registration is expected to open in October 2026. Please check the conference website for registration updates.
The registration fee is approximately €150.
Abstract Requirements
For empirical studies, we recommend the following structure:
Introduction, Objectives, Materials & Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Empirical abstracts are preferably based on collected data. However, submissions with planned data collection after the submission may also be considered if the research design and timeline are clearly explained. In such cases, please include information about:
- The sampling method
- Expected sample size
- Research methods
- Data collection instruments
- Planned data analysis
All submissions will be reviewed by the scientific committee.
Important Submission Information
Each author may be first author on a maximum of two presentations, for example one oral presentation or symposium, plus one poster.
Authors may indicate a preferred presentation format in the submission form. However, due to scheduling limitations, the organisers reserve the right to assign submissions to a different format if necessary.
Please note:
- There is no fee for abstract submission
- Submitted abstracts cannot be edited after the submission deadline
- Abstracts will be published exactly as submitted
- By submitting an abstract, authors agree to publication on the conference website, in the programme, and in related promotional materials
